Story

"Huckleberry Finn" is a track from Norman Kelsey's new LP, ON THE REBOUND. Inspired by Mark Twain and Spike Lee, it is Norman's take on life on your own personal Mississippi. The song was written by Norman Kelsey and was performed live during his tour of the UK in May 2012. The track was produced by Adam Marsland at Karma Frog, Reseda, CA.

Story

"On The Rebound" is the title track from Norman's second full-length LP. It features Norman's signature falsetto; under the influences of Curtis Mayfield and Andy Gibb. The follow-up to lead single "Your Majestic Rejection," this track finds the party getting ready to start for that broken heart.

 

It was co-written with Bryan Farrar and recorded and produced by Adam Marsland.

Story

"Your Majestic Rejection" is the lead single from Norman's upcoming summer 2012 LP. It was inspired by Norman's love of vintage soul music. The track features an all-star lineup of performers: DJ Bonebrake (drums); Larry O. Williams (sax solo); Rahmlee Michael Davis (trumpet); Evie Sands & Teresa Cowles (backing vocals) and producer Adam Marlsand (piano, organ and guitars).

"So Sophisticated" is the opening track from Norman's CD, ON THE REBOUND. This slice of California Sunshine Funk features the horn playing of Rahmlee Michael Davis (Earth, Wind & Fire/Phenix Horns) and Larry O. Williams (GAP Band).
